How to Enable or Disable the Pop Up Blocker in Internet Explorer 9
- Open Internet Explorer 9.
- Click the gear icon.
- Choose Internet Options.
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Check or uncheck the Turn on Pop-up Blocker box.
- Click Apply, then click OK.

Pop-ups, whether they are meant as a means of advertising or simply to display additional information, have long been an annoyance for Internet browsers.
