How to Turn Off Grayscale on an Apple Watch

Is your Apple Watch suddenly only displaying black, white, and gray colors? This could be a little alarming if you didn’t do it intentionally. The bright colors and vivid display of the Apple Watch is certainly one of its more appealing features so, when that disappears, it can be cause for concern.

Fortunately your watch going to black and white mode is most likely caused by a change to the device’s Grayscale setting, rather than an indication of a problem. Our tutorial below will show you where to find that setting in the Watch app on your iPhone so that you can turn it off and restore the original brightly-colored display to which you are accustomed.

Turning off the Breathe reminders on your Apple Watch may be something that you are interested in doing, but didn’t realize that it was an option. Not everyone likes that feature, and the constant reminders to perform the breathing exercise may not be something you care to receive.
