How to Exit iPhone 14 Do Not Disturb Mode (Guide with Pictures)

The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 14 Plus in the iOS 16.5 operating system.

You can also perform these same steps in other newer versions of iOS, as well as on many other iPhone models, including the following:

  • iPhone 14
  • iPhone 14 Pro
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max

Step 1: Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open the Control Center.

If you are using an iPhone that has a Home button, then you will need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Control Center instead.

Step 2: Look for the half moon icon next to the word Focus, then tap that moon icon to turn off Do Not Disturb.

Do Not Disturb is turned off when the button is gray, and it is turned on when the button is white. I have Do Not Disturb turned off in the picture below.

Note that you can enable the other Focus modes from the Control Center by tapping and holding on to the Focus button, then choosing from the available options there. These options include the following:

  • Personal
  • Work
  • Sleep
