Which App is Using GPS on My iPhone 6?

Your iPhone 6 is able to determine your geographical location based on a variety of factors. This location information can then be used by the apps that you have installed, provided that you have given them permission to use location services.

If an app is using or has recently used location services, then there will be a small arrow in the status bar at the top of your iPhone.

Some apps will use your location information more frequently than others, and it can be confusing when you see the arrow icon at the top of your device’s screen and you cannot determine why an app would have recently used it.

Fortunately, there is a menu on your iPhone that you can check to find out which apps have recently used GPS on your device.
