Conclusion
The buddy system at first seems like something that might just be an interesting way to interact with the Pokemon that you have caught, but there are actually some aspects of the game that can be improved by using your buddy.
Pokemon Go buddies can advance in levels, where they learn some new skills that can help you play. For example, your buddy can help you when catching Pokemon when you get to the Great level, and it can increase its level by one when it’s reached “best buddy” status and is set as your current buddy.
But if you want to switch to a different Pokemon than what is currently set,m you might be struggling to do so.
Hopefully, our how to change buddy in Pokemon Go steps above have helped you to make this change so that you can start increasing the buddy levels for another Pokemon.
