The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 14 Plus in the iOS 16.5 operating system.
These steps work in several other recent versions of iOS, as well as for many iPhone models, including the following:
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
Step 1: Locate the Settings app on your Home screen and tap on it.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the Battery option.
Step 3: Tap the button to the right of Battery Percentage to enable it.
You should see a number appear inside of the battery icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
If you don’t see an option for battery percentage, then you might be using an older version of iOS. You can update to the most recent iOS version by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
