How to Enable the Last Location Option in Find My iPhone

The Find My iPhone feature can be incredibly useful if you can’t find your device. When the setting is enabled, you can sign into and see where your iPhone is. It’s a really cool feature, and definitely worth checking out, even if your iPhone is sitting right next to you.

Unfortunately, your iPhone needs to be turned on for this to work as intended, which can be an issue if your iPhone happens to run out of battery life while it is missing.

One way to improve this situation is to enable a setting that will send your iPhone’s location to Apple when the battery reaches a critical level. Our guide below will show you how to find and enable that setting.

Here is how to turn on the option that uploads your iPhone’s last location when the battery is low –

  1. Open the Settings menu.
  2. Select the iCloud option.
  3. Select the Find My iPhone option.
  4. Turn on the Send Last Location option.
