The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 14 Plus, in the iOS 16.5 operating system.
You can use these same steps to create bookmarks in most other versions of iOS, as well as other iPhone models including:

Step 1: Tap the Safari icon on your Home screen to open the browser.
Step 2: Navigate to the page for which you wish to create a bookmark.
Step 3: Touch the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
It’s the icon that looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.
Step 4: Scroll down and select the Add Bookmark option.
Step 5: Edit the name and location of the bookmark if desired, then tap the Save button at the top right of the screen.
