To bookmark a page in Google Chrome, select the Bookmark (star) icon on the right side of the address bar, or press Ctrl + D (Command + D on a Mac). To show or hide the bookmarks bar, select More > Bookmarks and lists > Show bookmarks bar, or press Ctrl + Shift + B. Delete a bookmark from the Bookmark Manager.

How to bookmark in Google Chrome
- Open Chrome and go to the site you want to save.
- Select the Bookmark (star) icon to the right of the address bar, or press Ctrl + D (⌘ + D on a Mac).
- In the dialog that opens, change the name or folder if you want, then select Done.
Result: the page is saved as a bookmark. Google’s shortcut list also includes Ctrl + Shift + D (⌘ + Shift + D) to save all open tabs as bookmarks in a new folder, and dragging the web address to the bookmarks bar.
How to show or hide the bookmarks bar

How to find a bookmark fast
- Address bar: type @bookmarks, press Tab or Space, and enter a keyword.
- Bookmark Manager: select More > Bookmarks and lists > Bookmark Manager, or press Ctrl + Shift + O (⌘ + Option + B on a Mac).
- Side panel: select More > Bookmarks and lists > Show all bookmarks.
How to delete bookmarks in Chrome
- Select More > Bookmarks and lists > Bookmark Manager.
- Find the bookmark and select More (three dots) next to it.
- Select Delete.
Result: the bookmark is removed. Google warns that after you delete a bookmark, you can’t get it back, so export a copy first if you’re cleaning up a lot (see below).
How to organize bookmarks
- New folder: in Bookmark Manager, select More > Add new folder, or right-click the bookmarks bar and select Add Folder.
- Sort: in Bookmark Manager, select More > Sort by name. The side panel’s Organize button offers newest, oldest, last opened, and A to Z or Z to A.
- Move: drag bookmarks up or down, or into a folder on the left.
How to import bookmarks from another browser
- In your old browser, save or export your bookmarks as an HTML file, following that browser’s instructions.
- In Chrome, select More > Bookmarks and lists > Import bookmarks and settings.
- Select Choose file, pick the HTML file, and select Open, then Done.
Result: Google says the bookmarks appear in your bookmarks bar if you had none, or in an Other bookmarks folder at the end of the bar if you did.
How to export Chrome bookmarks
Open Bookmark Manager, select More at the top, and choose Export Bookmarks. Google says Chrome saves them as an HTML file you can import into another browser.

Google says that when you sign in to Chrome with your Google Account, you can use your bookmarks and other info on all your devices.
Can I bookmark every open tab at once?
