iOS 7 brought about a lot of new changes, but perhaps one of the most useful ones is the addition of the Control Center. This is the series of applications and features that is available when you pull up from the bottom of your screen. This includes a number of helpful utilities, including a flashlight.

Turning Off the Lock Screen Control Center in iOS 7
If you are used to doing things a certain way with your iPhone 5, then you may not be interested in taking advantage of all of the features that the Control Center has to offer. But, after following the steps below, you decide that you want to give the Control Center another try, you can always reverse the directions in this article to re-enable your iOS 7 Control Center.
Step 1: Touch the Settings icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the Control Center option.
Step 3: Move the slider to the right of Access on Lock Screen from the right to the left. When the Control Center is disabled there shouldn’t be any green surrounding the slider button.
