Much like the desktop version of Microsoft Edge, the iPhone version lets you use tabs to have multiple Web pages open at once. This makes it much easier for you to quickly switch between different Web pages at the same time. It also allows you to leave one page open and accessible while you read another one.
But having all of these tabs open can make it difficult for you to find the tabs that you need, especially if the other tabs were opened inadvertently, or for a different purpose. Luckily you can close tabs in Edge, and you can even choose to close all of them at once if you would like.
How to Close a Single Tab or Close All Tabs in the Edge iPhone App
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 10.3.3. This guide will assume that you have already installed the Microsoft Edge on your iPhone, and that you want to know how to close browser tabs that are open in the app. You can download Microsoft Edge to your iPhone by following this guide.
Step 1: Open the Microsoft Edge app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Touch the tabs icon in the bar at the bottom of the screen. It’s the icon with the number inside of a square.
Step 3: Tap the x at the bottom-right corner of the tab that you want to close. You can instead close all of the open tabs by touching the Close all button at the bottom of the screen.
