How to Hide Badge Icons in Windows 10
The steps in this article were performed on a laptop computer using the Windows 10 operating system. By completing the steps in this guide you will be changing a setting for your taskbar icon so that badges on those icons are hidden.
Step 1: Right-click in an empty space on the taskbar and choose the Taskbar settings option.
Step 2: Scroll down and click the button under Show badges on taskbar buttons to remove the badges from your icons.
