Conclusion

While the iPhone screen has gotten larger and clearer over the years, it can still be difficult to type accurately and efficiently.

One option that is available is something called predictive typing. Essentially, your iPhone will guess what you are trying to type based on what you have already entered, and it will display a series of predictions in a gray bar above the keyboard.

You can then tap on one of those predictions to include it in whatever you are typing.

But if you aren’t using this feature, then it might simply be taking up space on your screen, and you might be selecting predictions accidentally.

Hopefully, our article above about how to turn off predictive typing on iPhone 14 has provided you with the information that you need in order to be able to find and change this setting so that you can improve your typing experience on the phone.
