If you have been using mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, for any period of time, then you know how complicated it can sometimes be to print anything directly from the device. It was usually so complicated that I had essentially given up hope that it was possible. Fortunately, out of curiosity, I attempted to print from my iPad 2 to my Canon Pixma MX340. Not only is there a dedicated app from Canon that you can use to print your pictures, you can even scan form the MX340 scanner to the iPad. On another note, if you have been having difficulty scanning from your MX340, it is actually pretty simple to set up network scanning with the Canon MX340.
