What I like most about this computer is the performance of which it is capable, combined with all of the features, ports and components that it contains. There is a lot to this computer for this price, and it would make an excellent laptop for someone that just wants to use it around the house or the office, and doesn’t intend to ever be far away from a power outlet. The backlit keyboard is very helpful if you often type in a dark environment, and the fast wired and wireless network connections will allow you to take full advantage of your broadband Internet connection speeds.
This computer is ideally suited for someone that wants the portability and convenience of a laptop computer so that they can move it around within their home, dorm, or office. However, the short battery life makes it a poor choice for someone that needs to do a lot of traveling, and might not be able to get to a power outlet for hours at a time. The RAM and excellent 3rd generation Intel i3 processor will allow you to easily manage all of your multitasking with programs like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Office. This computer also boasts a solid webcam, speakers and touchpad, which will help your experience when video chatting and performing common computer activities.
This computer is a great value if you can overlook the short battery life. It has everything that the typical computer user will need, and it all comes enclosed inside a well-constructed Sony laptop body. The backlit keyboard is a nice touch for a computer at this price, as are all of the ports and connections. Whether you want to connect a Bluetooth mouse, stream movies, use a hotel room’s wired Internet connection or communicate with a business contact over Skype, this machine has everything that you might need.
