How to Delete iPhone 7 Apps (Guide with Pictures)
The steps in this section were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 12.2.
Note that you will be able to redownload any apps that you delete by going to the App Store and searching for them, then tapping the cloud icon next to the app name.
This includes any apps that you’ve purchased with this Apple ID.
Step 1: Locate the app that you want to delete.
Step 2: Tap and hold on the app icon until it starts to shake.
Step 3: Tap the x at the top-left corner of the app icon.

Deleting Apps on the iPad in iOS 7

Step 1: Locate the app that you want to delete from your iPad.
In the example below, I will be deleting Angry Birds.
Step 2: Touch and hold your finger on the app icon until all of the app icons start to shake.
You will notice that there is a tiny “x” at the upper-left corner of many of the app icons.
Step 3: Touch the tiny “x” button on the app icon that you want to delete.
Step 4: Touch the Delete button to confirm that you want to delete the app and its data from your iPad.
Touch the Home button under the iPad screen to stop the remaining app icons from shaking.
You can also delete apps from your iPad in the Settings menu instead, by using the method below.
Step 1: Tap the Settings icon.
Step 2: Select the General option from the column on the left side of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the Usage button near the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Select the app that you want to delete from the list.
If the app is not visible, then touch the Show all Apps button at the bottom of the list.
