Acer Aspire V3-571G-6641 15.6-Inch Laptop (Midnight Black) Review

Any time you can find an inexpensive laptop computer with a good processor, a decent amount of upgradable RAM and all of the connection ports you might need, then you are in luck. If you are also looking for something that can play some games, however, then the search is not so easy. But the Acer Aspire V3-571G-6641 15.6-Inch Laptop (Midnight Black) is the rare computer that has all of these features, which is something very unusual in this price range.

If you are considering this computer because you want to do some gaming, then you may have found one of the ideal budget gaming laptops. If you do not plan on doing any gaming, though, I would recommend checking out something like this computer. The biggest upside of this Acer is its dedicated video card so, if you don’t need it, then you may be able to find more value with a different computer. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to

This laptop is built for the casual gamer. Whether that is a student heading back to school that needs something for their classes, but still wants to have some fun, or someone at home that occasionally wants to sign in to join their friends in some online multiplayer, a budget gaming laptop is awesome. Amateur video editors will also appreciate the speed gained from using the dedicated graphics card.

And while I have repeatedly pointed out that I value this computer more for its’ gaming potential than anything else, someone that does heavy multi-tasking (such as with the included Word and Excel software) should see improved performance due to the computer’s ability to offload some tasks to the video card RAM. And while some people will be offput by the full numeric keypad, it can be very helpful if you need to use those keys for numerical data entry.

Like many of the other Acer computers in this price range, this computer has a couple of features that make it stand out from the pack. If this machine has all of the features that you are looking for in a laptop, I highly recommend purchasing it. Budget gaming computers tend to sell out very quickly, especially at a price like this.
