While the iPad is an expensive and versatile device, it is also pretty durable, and it has a lot of different games and apps that are meant for children.

As a result, you may find that your child is using it a lot, maybe even more than you.

But the App Store provides access to a wide variety of different apps, some of which you may not want your child exposed to.

If you are worried about potentially troublesome apps and what to keep an eye on how your child is using your iPad, then you can enable restrictions on the device and disable access to the App Store.

This will configure the device so that new apps can only be installed by the person that knows the password for the Restrictions menu.
