How to Factory Reset a Roku 3

If you are preparing to return your Roku 3 or give it to someone else as a gift, then you might be concerned about them using the accounts that you have configured on the device.

In order to prevent any unwanted complications due to accounts that were not deleted, Roku recommends that you factory reset your device. This can be accomplished through the menus on the device and can be completed in just a few minutes.

Once you have completed the tutorial below, your Roku will be restored to the condition in which it was sent from the factory. This means that any channels that you have downloaded will be deleted, and any accounts that you have added will be removed.
